Fluor’s office in Farnborough is one of the company’s main execution centres undertaking projects across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia. The depth of technical expertise and execution experience of Fluor’s professionals based in Farnborough allows the company to perform front-end engineering studies, full engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction (EPFC) contracts as well as project management consultancy (PMC) services.
As part of the Talent Acquisition Team, you will be pivotal in ensuring the maximum success of our attraction campaigns by managing end-to-end candidate and stakeholder experience and hiring diverse talent to support our business goals.
Main responsibilities will be:
• Oversee the recruitment process for your area, by posting vacancies, sifting CVs, screening, arranging interviews, providing feedback & offer negotiation
• Run both tactical and strategic campaigns to generate high volumes of candidates from diverse backgrounds
• Develop strong relationships with managers to understand their departments hiring needs and job requirements.
• Participate in recruitment selection days and careers events
• Conduct thorough interviews to ensure that candidates' skills, experience, and aspirations align with our requirements
• Ensure an inclusive approach to all hiring processes in line with our DEI (Diversity, Equality and Inclusion) principles
• Manage the ATS ensuring timely closing down of requisitions and that candidates are accurately tracked through the database
• Collaborate with regional EAME Talent Acquisition team to share knowledge and best practices
• Act as the recruitment subject matter expert on employee resourcing strategies to provide innovative, cost effective and timely solutions
• Report progress against resourcing activity/trends to demonstrate effectiveness and value
• Enhance the candidate experience being an ambassador with candidates and promoting the Fluor employer brand
• Collaborate closely with other members of the talent acquisition and HR teams to maximise overall efficiency and providing support for a variety of projects across the business, as needed.
What we look for:
• Previous work experience in an internal recruitment role
• Experience of managing technical or engineering vacancies preferably within the energy space
• Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure to achieve deadlines
• Action orientated, resourceful, organised with a clear drive for results
• Significant demonstrable experience of high volume, full life cycle recruiting experience
• Experience in direct sourcing candidates using LinkedIn recruiter
• Experience using various assessment formats (e.g., phone, competency interviews, group exercises)
• Excellent organisational & analytical skills
• Early careers / graduate recruitment experience (desirable)
• Knowledge of recruitment best practices and industry trends. You'll need to stay up-to-date on the latest strategies and techniques for finding and attracting top talent.
