Job DescriptionPosition Purpose: Directs and manages operations staff and production activities within a healthcare and mailroom environment. This position receives guidance and direction from the Director of Operations / site head of a designated operational canter.Essential Job Duties:Ensures daily operational standards are met in both healthcare and mailroom settings.Ensures sufficient staffing for operational areas to provide accurate and timely service to customers meeting quality standards within healthcare and mailroom contexts.Engages with customers from a delivery standpoint, focusing on healthcare and mailroom services.Understands Lean principles and goals and ensures lean changes are being adhered to in the healthcare and mailroom operations.Supports Company mandated changes, particularly within healthcare and mailroom domains.Oversees quality systems for new production setups in healthcare and mailroom departments.Gathers and analyses data related to quality, efficiency, equipment utilization, and staffing levels within healthcare and mailroom operations, and recommends improvements upon request from the Director of Operations.Provides formal staff training to accommodate changes within current procedures, specifically tailored for healthcare and mailroom services.Provides training for external stakeholders, including customers or corporate personnel, with a focus on healthcare and mailroom processes.Coordinates and schedules internal staff training, addressing healthcare and mailroom needs.Monitors safety and security policies to ensure regulatory requirements are met in healthcare and mailroom environments.Notifies Human Resources of work-related injuries or illnesses promptly, particularly within healthcare and mailroom contexts.Interviews, screens, selects, trains, coaches, and counsels production staff, emphasizing healthcare and mailroom expertise.Accurately interprets and communicates policies and procedures in accordance with the employee handbook, specifically tailored for healthcare and mailroom operations.Maintains and promotes positive employee relations in the healthcare and mailroom work environment.Is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely payroll, time and attendance records within healthcare and mailroom settings.Develops and maintains high levels of safety awareness, implementing a sound safety process to ensure positive team behaviours and achievement of safety objectives within healthcare and mailroom departments.Ensures that security and privacy policies, standards, and guidelines are disseminated, understood, and applied to protect the informational assets of both the company and its customers, with a specific focus on healthcare and mailroom operations
