　　HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR (RESEARCH) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

　　Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Supports a Tier 2/Tier 3 desktop services support team providing:

　　On-call desktop software and on-call support for a broad user base

　　End user device support for workstations, monitors, client devices, voice devices, printers, scanners, plotters and personal IT devices

　　Desktop image management

　　Home directory and profile support services

　　Operations services for directory, authentication and user account management

　　DNS/DHCP domain services

　　Patch management support for windows devices across multiple networks

　　Performs advanced software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages

　　Develops technical solutions for the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures

　　WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

　　Education and Experience:

　　Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree

　　5+ years of related experience

　　Recommended Skills and Abilities:

　　Works seamlessly in a team environment

　　Experience using Service+ Software Deployment and Network Patching

　　Scripting experience

　　Demonstrated experience supporting Windows & Linux environments
