As Autodesk transitions to the cloud, our value comes from building and scaling reliable and trusted cloud services. At Autodesk Construction Solutions, we solve real problems. This is a remote position on the west coast.

  Responsibilities:

Collaborate with development teams to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.

Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of systems and services.

Implement and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and infrastructure issues.

Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to ensure optimal system performance.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SRE and cloud technologies.

Improve the security policy and process of web and cloud-based applications

  Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably as an SRE or DevOps Engineer.

Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js).

Expertise in database management, including experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Proficiency in Linux system administration and networking.

Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

  Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  Strong communication and collaboration skills.

In order to comply with U.S. Export Controls requirements, this role must be filled by a U.S. Person (as defined under the International Traffic In Arms (“ITAR”) (22 CFR part 120.15) including: 1) a U.S. citizen (whether born or naturalized); 2) a lawful permanent resident of the United States (e.g., “green card” holders); or 3) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) (e.g., foreign persons such as refugees and asylees who are protected persons and considered U.S. persons for export control purposes).
