　　What you will do

　　Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will drive world class EHSS performance across the site in a diverse biotech/pharma environment. The role will be responsible for the execution of key EHSS processes.

　　Focus on construction safety for the site.

　　Management of site compliance with environmental permits and licenses

　　Trending and analysis of EHSS information and provide data intelligence and actions.

　　Provide domain expertise for several EHSS programs including environmental compliance (air, water, waste), sustainability, ergonomics, EHS training, job hazard analysis, and EHS change control assessments.

　　Manage key site Environmental Compliance tasks.

　　Support laboratory clients with guidance from other EHSS authorities within the Amgen community.

　　Partner with clients to advance safety culture and manage EHSS risks

　　Analyze metrics and establish annual action plans to drive continuous improvement.

　　Establish and complete risk assessment plans for clients to ensure all risks are proactively addressed and control systems are implemented and maintained.

　　Ensure all changes with potential EHSS impact are assessed and controls are established prior to implementation.

　　Ensure all hazards are identified and risks are proactively assessed.

　　Establish safe work procedures for hazardous work.

　　Conduct regular inspections of the work areas.

　　Monitor incident trends and assist management in conducting incident investigations to implement robust corrective actions to prevent future incidents and injuries.

　　Conduct regular EHSS management reviews with Client Leadership

　　What we expect of you

　　Doctorate degree OR

　　Master’s degree and 3 years of Operations or Manufacturing experience Or

　　Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Operations or Manufacturing experience Or

　　Associate’s degree and 10 years of Operations or Manufacturing experience Or

　　High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Operations or Manufacturing experience

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry implementing industrial programs

　　Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and or Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

　　Risk evaluation and risk assessment experience

　　Strong construction safety experience

　　Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and influence management

　　Strong communication and presentation skills, action oriented, self-starting, program development and project management

　　Strong technical writing skills

　　Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software systems
