Overview
We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor at our growing facility in Camden, AR. The selected candidate will oversee and mentor non-exempt and/or entry-level exempt employees, and monitor/coach work operations on a daily basis. This person will actively assist and/or provide direction and work assignments to direct reports. Will also p romote and maintain AR safety policies, t rack inventory levels, d rive non conformance reduction, m aintain the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity ( SQDIP) board, i mprove employee engagement, s chedule overtime when needed and appropriate, w ork with PMO to meet program objectives, c onduct employee evaluations and report daily/weekly production status.
Essential Functions
30% - Provide direction to direct reports
20% - Plan and coordinatesintegrated schedules for personnel, material and facilities utilization
15% - Schedule and lead meetings where necessary
15% - Monitor and meet department budget
10% - Interpret and execute policies that typically affect subordinates
10% - Coordinate work programs for shift operations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
6 years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related field
Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the activities of the assigned team
