Description

　　The Engineering Science Division (ESD) of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a Staff Engineer 2 to support engineering and scientific research, development, testing, studies, and related activities onsite in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. This position is contingent on contract award.

　　As a Staff Engineer, you will perform engineering design and analyses of complex security related systems to determine potential for further development, production, and interface to other systems, and usefulness in the homeland security environment.

　　Required Experience:

　　Shall have security, physical security, security sensor, or explosive detection systems or related engineering experience demonstrating the ability to work with complex issues related to design, development, and test and evaluation.

　　Experience which demonstrates a professional knowledge of System, Electrical / Electronic engineering discipline.

　　Experience developing work breakdown structures, identification of critical path elements to project accomplishment, and tracking of project activities.

　　Experience conducting tests, collecting test data, and preparing test/program assessment reports.

　　Experience with writing test plans and procedures, with little supervision, including project documents, project plans, data analysis reports, and project final reports.

　　Experience in system automation, data collection, analysis, and presentation.

　　Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and have working knowledge of commercial software programs.

　　Required Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering and have at least 6 or more years of experience, or

　　Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering.

　　Must be a US Citizen.

　　Requires Secret Security Clearance or higher and DHS Suitability.
