　　Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individualmust be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 　　Current licensure in the state of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.Registered Nurse with minimum of two (2) years experience in nursing in along-term care setting, and/or adult education.Demonstrates knowledge of gerontology, rehabilitative, andmedical-surgical nursing care.Knowledgeable and experienced in concepts and techniques of adult education.Knowledge of State and Federal regulatory requirements for long-term care.Overall understanding of RAI process, Case Mix, and Medicare.Knowledge of current Infection Control and OSHA guidelines.Ability to work independently and in a team setting.Professional attitude, high degree of self-motivation and leadershipqualities.Customer service oriented with knowledge of successful customer servicetechniques.Demonstrates coaching, and mentoring abilities to facilitate learning ofothers.Understanding of Corporate Compliance, and Abuse/Neglect guidelines.Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such astimekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.Must be a team player.Must be willing to work in facilities that are following infection controlprecautions and regular testing for COVID-19; Vaccination again COVID-19 isrequired per VOA guidelines and state healthcare regulations.Must be able to pass a background and drug test.

　　The Volunteers of America National Services Colorado Float Team is a team ofexperienced professionals that assist in the facilities that we serve, suchas the Senior Community Care Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly(PACE), Horizons Health Care Center, Valley Manor Care Center, theHomestead at Montrose, and Home Health of Western Colorado. As a PRNemployee, you will enjoy ultimate flexibility and work as little as 4 shiftsper month or full-time hours, it is YOUR choice. One (1) year ofexperience is required - you must be willing to work at any VOA facility thathas a need. Love to travel? Interim assignments to facilities in otherstates may be available!
