The ideal candidate for this position can prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation and be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. Participation in compliance, interaction with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and reviewing schedules reporting processes are also expected tasks. This is a position you will thrive in, if you have a complex understanding of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets.

　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Manage intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation

　　Periodic maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries

　　In-depth knowledge of reconciling month end balance sheet accounts

　　Play a part in a variety of department-wide initiatives

　　Assist with the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks

　　Produce journal entries and perform the month end close under minimal supervision

　　Special projects and impromptu reporting, upon request

　　Assist in implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

　　Organize and review a variety of financial data, reporting it in a way that is useful and understandable

　　Produce analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for reporting by management

　　Compose thorough journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

　　Manage schedules for monthly payments and capital lease

　　Maintain depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation Requirements - Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

　　Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

　　Recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills

　　CPA experience

　　Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) experience preferred

　　Auditing experience desired

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Self-starter and strong ethical standards

　　ERP system experience

　　Demonstrated ability in exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

　　High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
