In this pivotal role, you will spearhead and synchronize finance-related activities within the region, playing a key role in driving the financial success of the organization. As a finance leader, you will be a key business partner to the commercial organization, collaborat ing closely with the Clinical Operations and Industrial Applications management units based in North America, and contributing your strategic financial insights to support their objectives.
Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will be an integral part of the global financ e leadership team, providing your perspective on the key decisions for the Finance function . Y ou will support functionally the Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations for North America, fostering a collaborative and synergistic approach to financial management within the region. You will be a thought partner with the SVP in helping formulate, map and execute strategic market actions to support business top and bottom line growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis :
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
Oversee budgeting, performance monitoring and forecasting for the commercial activities in North America.
Develop financial modelling on business cases
Analyze financial performance and provide insights to executive leadership.
Accounting, Risk Management & Compliance:
Lead the US accounting team and drive process efficiency for all NORAM finance
Establish and maintain robust internal control and risk management frameworks
Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
Manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions
Oversee cash management and cash collection
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Develop talent and succession plans to ensure a strong finance organization.
Strategic Initiatives:
Support business units and functional teams in evaluating financial implications of strategic decisions.
Support business development project in the US, notably finance integration of US acquisitions
Technology & Innovation:
Drive digital transformation initiatives in finance, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insight generation.
Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in financial management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive finance experience ; experience in the medical device and diagnostics industry is a plus .
Strong understanding of global financial markets and regulatory environment .
Proven track record of strategic financial leadership, and business partnering .
Experience in a multinational group with a matrix organization and multicultural stakeholders
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
