Job Overview:The Health Equity Performance Improvement Specialist reports to the Director, PTI. They serve as an internal consultant to management, staff, and physicians and provide leadership support for strategic project and programs. They will also partner closely with Executive and Health System leaders to plan and implement enterprise-wide change and organizational transformation strategies that align with TriHealth's five strategic pillars: people, growth, service, quality, and finance. They will be accountable for managing multiple projects and priorities, timely execution, implementation and management of deliverables, and professionalism consistent with the TriHealth Values and Always Behaviors and serve as a mentor/coach for Process Analyst (level 1) roles.The Health Equity Performance Improvement Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and measuring the impact of initiatives to eliminate health disparities among TriHealth's patients. The specialist will utilize evidenced-based practices and data-driven approaches to guide decision making, and operational process development. This role will also report to the VP, Health Equity and DEI + B. This integral team member will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion (belonging) and health equity, and will be passionate about promoting an inclusive and equitable health status for the external TriHealth community.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Physical or Life Science, Nursing or Allied Health field, or related field required; Advanced degree preferred.Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, Lean, or similar training preferred.Eight years of relevant work experience (in healthcare, operations, or consulting preferred). Supports implementation with operational owners, including evaluation, tracking progress against timelines, identifying/ resolving barriers, and recommending adjustments while creatively engaging project teams and internal customers.Analyzes assigned areas of operations for potential improvement opportunities associated with quality, safety, flow, inventory control, standardization, line balance and level loading of work.Identifies appropriate metrics for a given process/project.
