BASIC FUNCTIONS: This entry-level position performs basic software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line.QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Services, or equivalent experience
1 - 3 years of Software Engineering / QA Test Engineering / DevOps experience
P reference with b ackend development
At least 1 year experience on Data Manipulation Language
Eagerness to learn and develop in-house applications . Basic knowledge of HPCC ECL is a PLUS.
Utilized software development methodologies in projects
Equipped with technical problem-solving skills and have conducted RCA
Basic knowledge of data structure and algorithms concepts
Ability to clearly communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams to escalate major issues as needed
Familiar in developing applications using CI/CD environments (e.g., GITLab, GitHUB pipeline) (NOT required but a plus)
Familiarity with Scrum/Kanban/SaFe Agile workflow methodologies (NOT required but a Plus)
Experience/Familiarity with Linux and UNIX platforms and monitoring tools (NOT required but a plus)
Experience/Familiarity using JIRA and/or Confluence (NOT required but a Plus)
Knowledge and experience using SOAP services (BIG Plus)
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develop quality software
Analyze and maintain existing workflows and applications
Design highly scalable, testable code
Discover and fix programming bugs
Conduct RCA on technical inquiries/requests
Support production jobs , unblock execution processes and resolve any issues through escalation or RCA
Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders
Resolve basic technical issues as necessary
Keep abreast of new technology developments
All other duties as assigned.
Shift Requirement:
Open to cover weekend shifts
Rotating on morning (8am - 4pm ) and mid-shifts (3pm-1 1pm )
