　　Pay Rate: $49.06

　　Summary: FMS Software

　　Responsible for designing and developing Flight Management Systems software based upon legacy NGFMS product line functionality with transformations required to operate within the NGA FMS Product for Part 23 Class 1 / 2, Part 23 Class 3 / 4, and Part 25 aircraft. Candidate should have a Computer or Software Engineering degree or related experience in the following areas:

　　• SW architecture design and embedded C++ coding

　　• Object oriented development experience

　　• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (DO-178C preferred)

　　• Creating test cases for software based upon use cases derived from the system and software requirements

　　• Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices

　　Job Descriptions:

　　Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications.

　　Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems.

　　Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

　　Skills/ Requirements

　　Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

　　Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

　　Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

　　Works under immediate supervision.

　　Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

　　Typically reports to a manager.

　　Pay Details: $49.06 per hour
