　　Position Description:

　　Delivers system automation by setting up Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Designs, develops, maintains, enhances and optimizes highly available, scalable, and distributed data applications using Oracle (PL/SQL), Informatica, Hadoop, Hive, Unix Shell Scripting, and open-source frameworks. Provides business solutions by developing complex software applications.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

　　Education and Experience:

　　Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) analyzing, designing, developing, installing, and maintaining data warehousing and movement applications.

　　Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) analyzing, designing, developing, installing, and maintaining data warehousing and movement applications.

　　Skills and Knowledge:

　　Candidate must also possess:

　　Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") building scalable and robust Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and data flows; and designing and building data applications in Oracle, Snowflake, and Hadoop data warehouse environments.DE defining, developing, and implementing application level architecture hosted in Cloud - Amazon Web Services (AWS); and streamlining relational databases and data engineering using Snowflake and Oracle.DE bridging gaps between development and operation activities and teams, and participating in enforcing automation in the building, testing, and deployment of data warehousing software applications using automation CI/CD, Github, Jenkins, Shell scripting, and scheduling tools - Autosys and Control-M.DE defining, maintaining, and supporting development and production environments; integrating ETL tools (Informatica), and developing software system testing, programming, documentation, and validation procedures using Control-M, Autosys Scheduler, Service Now Incident Management system, and Jira Task Management systems according to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, and Kanban software development methodologies.
