　　Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Fremont, CA is $215,197.00-$236,300.00 per year and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. 　　Duties: Software development of Functional Safety Verification and Analysis tools using programming language C++.Design, develop, modify, and implement software program for products. Ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanisms. Create documents. Execute software designs which may involve complicated workflows or multiple product areas. Provide input to the technical direction for one area of a product. Consult with customers/product engineers regarding future upgrades and products. Solve technical problems. Develop and optimize advanced functionalities for functional safety core products. Design, develop and optimize complete software systems using scientific analysis. Modify existing software to correct critical errors in real customer flows/setup. Interact with other teams to obtain information on functional requirements and priorities for new features. Interact with team leads and other engineers to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Conceptualize projects and functional specifications based on feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Interact with quality assurance to develop feature specific testing and validation procedures to ensure quality of results.

　　Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, for foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and 60 months of experience in job offered or in a related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and 36 months of experience in job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: Programming and developing software systems in C++ on UNIX or LINUX platforms; Algorithms and data structures; Digital design and verification; Hardware design languages including System verilog and VHDL.
