This is a key position providing business performance insights of International Products, China, working closely with the Leadership Team and various colleagues in China and in the Region
Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:
Work with regional teams to fully integrate China International Products in business performance reports
Develop materials, organize meetings and prepare Country Operational/Financial insights and forecasts for International Products Leadership Teams
Prepare and standardize reports/dashboards used in Monthly Business Reviews for International Products Leadership Teams
Implement and maintain data integrity of applicable Business Performance Management systems such as Salesforce and LMOS, with monthly reconciliation between the various systems
Take charge of account planning for the country, with channel NOI simulation and obtaining Sales Teams' consensus on allocation rules
Track Key Leading Indicator Performance for the Country and highlight notable trends
Perform analysis on customer profitability and make recommendations to improve profitability, such as but not limited to:
Actual Key Performance Indicators analysis (volumes, unit metrics, margin, OPEX and Net Operating Income, etc.)
Actual vs. Business Plan variance analysis
Actual vs. Forecast variance analysis
Full P&L forecast by Sales Channels and Country
Business Performance commentaries
Support business forecasting and other business/JV support and reporting activities
Provide decision support on country initiatives and strategic studies
Lead and/or support projects and activities as and when required
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Economics, Finance, Accountancy or equivalent
• Experienced financial analyst or business analyst with understanding of financial statements and sales channel business drivers with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
• Business acumen, with the ability to shape measurement of key performance drivers
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work systematically, handle large volume of data, prioritize tasks and work under rigorous deadlines
• Team player with strong drive for continuous improvement and results
• Ability to collaborate cross functionally with different teams
• Effective communication skills, ability to align and influence key stakeholders, with speaking and writing skills in both English and Chinese
• Proficient in using systems (such as SAP, Essbase, Salesforce is a plus), with strong proficiency in spreadsheets, financial models and digital dashboards in data analysis and business performance reporting
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and remote management, work under pressure and handling multiple assignments simultaneously
• Experience in Corporate group reporting and/or Downstream Fuels and Lubricants business would be advantageous
