Purpose:Responsible for coordination of project plans, contractual arrangements,schedules, activities, and milestones in accordance with the establishedpolicies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by Worley.Supervises project personnel through subordinate leaders. Bridges thetechnical gap between the Project Manager and Engineers. Often functions asassistant project manager with an engineering background and technicaldeliverables. Ascertains that engineering work is done according to plan byhelping with design interpretation. Reviews bill of materials/projectschedules/forecasts/data sheets for accuracy. This role would apply tothose with an engineering background and significant experience.Responsibilities:Defines and selects team required to deliver scope of work.Effective at leading team to accomplish goals.Sets clear objectives for the project team including scope, schedule,productivity and budget targets.Keeps team members informed about project status and key performanceindicatorsOversees, motivates and monitors the performance of the team, ensuringquality and timeliness of assignments and roles, and addresses anyperformance gaps.Assigns project work and gives technical guidance to people assigned to workon their projects.Understands Worley established procedures, methods and tools for projecttechnical coordination.Ensures Worley approved systems, processes & tools are deployed andcomplied with on the project.Applies knowledge of all aspects of project engineering to oversee successfultechnical coordination.Ensures design team is aware and complying with customer Basis of Design andapplicable codes and regulations.Demonstrated understanding of engineering project delivery workflow andcoordination
What you will bringTechnical and Industry ExperienceSignificant engineering experience, including proven technical,supervisory and/or management experience, developing project managementexperieMakes independent decisions involving multiple, less complex functions basedon established guidelines, taking into account the cost and schedule impactto the project.Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
University degree or equivalent in engineering or equivalent experience withprofessional registration in local jurisdiction.Professional registration in local jurisdictionMembership in globally recognized project management organization (IPMA,APM, PMI, AIPM).This position is to be located in the Englewood/Denver areaSalary Range: $124,152 - $182,576Benefits: eligible for PTO, 401k, medical, vision, dental, etc.
