　　Job Description

　　Working within a multi-task team environment performing and/or assisting in maintenance routines on building equipment. The position demands flexibility, availability to work primarily day shifts, and a positive, cooperative work attitude. Perform preventative maintenance routines on building equipment and washroom deficiencies.

　　RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Perform standard maintenance routines on building equipment and systems.

　　Perform standard washroom inspections and minor repairs.

　　Respond to Tenant calls regarding lighting and plumbing issues.

　　Cleaning and Painting as required.

　　Other duties as assigned.

　　Embody and support Brookfield Properties’ Safety, Health and Environment Policy.

　　Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate hazards to reduce risk to the workplace.

　　Engage in training and continuing education to develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to work safely.

　　Take action to stop work if it cannot be executed safely or if conditions or behaviours are unsafe.

　　Immediately report SH&E incidents, near-misses, unsafe conditions, and/or at-risk behaviours to their supervisor; then diligently work to correct the problem.

　　Promote safe work practices and safe working conditions in accordance with all Brookfield Properties Safe Work Procedures.

　　Wear Personal Protective Equipment when required.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　SERVICE / PERSONAL SKILLS:

　　Service oriented with excellent communication skills. Must be self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and in a team, while learning from others. Must have a positive attitude and present a professional image.

　　EXPERIENCE & TECHNICAL SKILLS:

　　General building maintenance experience

　　Available to work afternoons

　　EDUCATION/DESIGNATIONS/LICENSES:

　　Minimum Grade 12 education

　　A certificate in Building Systems Engineering or working towards it.
