　　We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer who will support Research & Development related to optical fabrication and peripheral processes with particular interest in correlation system performance down to component level.

　　Principal Responsibilities

　　Leads in the development and implementation of new process and/or projects as related to optimizing component requirements to assembly performance for optical systems

　　Communicaton with customers to align system and component specification

　　Trouble-shoot issues with system integration

　　Provides sustaining engineering support to Production and continuously make efforts to improve the current process for cost efficiency and time reduction within Manufacturing

　　Required Skills:

　　Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields

　　5+ years of experience/knowledge of general requirements related to optical design, fabrication, and assembly

　　Optical component specifications/tolerancing and general optical fabrication knowledge desired

　　Solid knowledge of optics theory (geometrical, physical) preferred but not required

　　Compensation and Benefits: Salary Pay Range: $74,900 to 139,100 per year. This range is a good faith esti mate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.  At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

　　Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
