  What you'll be doing... This role will take charge of managing Pega CoE team to steer the Architecture, Design, and Frameworks of the APIs for Verizon Wireless's sales and service platforms. Collaborating closely with Systems of Engagement and other leaders in the CXP organization, this leader will drive platform solutions for delivery and transformation. The responsibilities encompass overseeing Case management and Decisioning platforms, with a primary focus on enhancing the customer experience. Managing Verizon's North Star architecture and ordering platforms, the Senior Manager will ensure operational stability and reliability. Building a dynamic team, they will guide designs for critical programs, facilitate agile teams in developing scalable solutions, and establish a governance structure to ensure effective API catering to all channels. The leader will shape the strategy and vision for Pega BPM journey management and Pega Decisioning applications, collaborating with global GTS teams and business partners to enhance experience outcomes for customers and employees. Essential skills for this role include excellent communication, project management, strategic thinking, and robust technical expertise. The leader will actively engage in frontline employee collaboration, cultivate strong relationships with senior business partners, develop domain expertise, and oversee integration with interfacing systems, maintaining day-to-day interactions with multiple channel teams.

  What we're looking for...Looking for a technology leader who will be responsible for the delivery of several critical Verizon Consumer Group North Star architecture programs and the delivery of a best-in-class Omni Journey Orchestration & Pega Case Management platform for Verizon customers. This role will be responsible for providing oversight of Pega platforms(Low code - no code) for the development, build, and operations of several business-critical applications ensuring the highest quality and availability of the system. This person will lead a global team of diverse talent and will need to work with other managers within the organization and deliver the programs

  Directing and operating a close team of leads and team members on all aspects of the development and delivery of sales and service APIs, performance & governance of the APIs, end-to-end design and architecture of the APIs, and striving for PEGA Center Of Excellence(CoE) and support the initiatives for all sales and service channels to meet Verizon's needs.

  Handling responsibility and decision authority focused comprehensively on the execution, delivery, and ongoing support of projects (end-to-end development and deployment) related to growth initiatives, experience-related initiatives, and transformational programs.

  Ensuring that all the BPM solutions developed on the Pega platform cover all the business needs in each of the channels while providing reusable and scalable solutions to drive best-in-class Omni solutions and Journey orchestration platform.

  Ensuring delivery of marketing, retention, loyalty, sales, service, support, and customer experience priorities as well as NSA, post order/back-end systems transformations.

  Ensuring the Pega platform is operating at the highest operational efficiency and maintaining the platform's reusability and performance.

  Managing a team that will work to support a diverse range of complex initiatives both in development as well as production cycles and regularly leading multiple, technically complex, large-scale projects.

  Leveraging knowledge of architecture, enterprise application development, and DevOps tools to drive and spearhead various Verizon transformation initiatives.

  Exercising operational controls, upholding platform stability and scalability, while driving the team to Agile adoption.

  Understanding the business criticality and time to market is a major consideration and the individual should be able to act with a sense of urgency and direct the team to do the same.

  Planning, dividing, and directing work among leads/team members.

  You'll need to have:Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  Experience in a related discipline including Management experience.

  Experience in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.

  Experience in working in Systems of Engagement or Customer experience platforms and delivering high-scale and performing digital applications.

  Even better if you have one or more of the following:A degree.

  Possess a PEGA CLSA certification and have strong product expertise in implementing intricate solutions.

  Experience with Cloud computing, AWS, and Kubernetes deployments.

  Well-versed with PL/SQL, Oracle, and Cassandra technologies.

  Experience managing a team.

  Experience in managing global resources and complex delivery teams.

  Experience in managing project budgets and adjusting project plans to meet deadlines.

  Experience in adjusting projects to adapt to changing requirements and involving IT resources from other areas.

  Experience in vendor management and ensuring on-time quality delivery from suppliers.

  Executive Communication and stakeholder management skills.

  Experience in crisis management and risk mitigation.

  Experience in running multiple enterprise applications at scale.

  Experience in delegation and management of priorities across multiple teams & managing limited capacity.

  Ability to analyze system performance along with the dev team, system, server, and network administrators.
