About Senior HR Governance Program Leader

  About this role:

  Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior HR Governance Program Leader to join the HR Governance team. This team is accountable for the strategy, oversight, and execution of enterprise-wide HR Governance Programs and partners closely with HR Control, Risk Management, Legal, Audit, Regulatory Relations, Performance Management, and Compensation. This is a key role leading the enterprise-wide Covered Employee HR Governance program.

  You will ensure governance programs are compliant with applicable laws and internal and external requirements, effectively balancing risks and financial rewards in a manner that supports our customers, team members, and the company. This includes providing counsel and guidance regarding current and future needs, understanding regulatory requirements impacting Covered Employee Program, and consulting with enterprise and line of business partners. You will also prepare and facilitate presentations for various governance committees and Sr. Leaders.

  A successful candidate will have the ability to take initiative and work independently, full-cycle enterprise program management, experience in facilitating change management processes, ability to provide effective consulting to the business and partners, and a proven ability to work across matrixed teams.

  In this role, you will:Drive oversight and execution of the Covered Employee governance program enterprise-wide, ensuring program strategy remains aligned with compliance requirements and organizational goals Understand end-to-end program requirements and processes, and provide recommendations to optimize effectivenessOversee complex project plans, ensuring deliverables are understood, interdependencies are identified and managed, concerns are escalated, and programs remains on-track Prepare and deliver targeted communications to ensure stakeholder understanding of program purpose/importance, key deliverables, roles and responsibilities, and opportunities for improved stakeholder engagement Develop responses to internal and external high priority requests, including disclosures, exams, information requests and other inquiries, in partnership with enterprise partners, Compensation, HR, Risk and LegalProvide leadership and guidance to other Covered Employee colleagues on critical program decisions and regulatory adherenceEnsure controls and related procedures are documented and working properly, and controls are created where gaps are identifiedProvide critical consulting and credible challenge, when needed, to key stakeholdersEstablish and maintain relationships with enterprise compensation, risk, audit, and legal partners to develop efficient and consistent practices across all functional business linesRequired Qualifications:7+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Experience with risk and regulatory compliance programs in the financial services industryEnd to end management of large HR or other governance programs, including responsibility for process improvementAbility to exercise independent judgement to identify and resolve problems effectivelyStrong business acumen and outstanding written and verbal communication skillsAbility to present complex material in a digestible, consumable manner to all levels of management, inclusive of executive leaders and board membersAbility to quickly build relationships, gain credibility, and influence and partner with senior leaders across the organizationProven experience handling extremely confidential informationExperience managing complex projects with the ability to manage multiple and competing prioritiesAbility to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment and take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountabilityAbility to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needsJob Expectations:Position locations: Minneapolis, MN; Charlotte, NC; West Des Moines, IA; San Antonio, TX; Dallas, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Chandler, AZThis position offers a hybrid work scheduleAbility to travel up to 5% of the timePosting Statements:Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicantsRequired locations listed aboveRelocation assistance is not available for this positionThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipWells Fargo only considers candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who do not require work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States#HRJobs
