Come join us - We are looking for a strong Senior Category Manager who understands and leads complex projects in a market that is evolving at a high speed!
Core Responsibilities
In this role your focus is to establish strong category and suppliers’ relationship management for Contract Logistics /Transport categories spend in EMEA region to help support our expansion plans, network development globally and our sustainability goals. Key challenges include:
Accountability of the overall Regional (EMEA) spend and results
Leading and developing the strategic relationship with key partners including the sustainability agenda
Responsible to lead companywide procurement strategic initiatives in the Transport and Logistics spend liaising with key internal functions
Responsible to develop and secure implementation of global category strategy irrespective of geographies.
Being Business Partner for Senior Management in the Regions for yearly Category planning and network development

You will join the Indirect Materials & Services (IM&S) Global Procurement team in Billund, Denmark.
As the LEGO Group expands globally, procurement organization is growing as well, especially in the area of IM&S sourcing.
We are a trusted partner for the business and responsible for procuring Facilities, Construction, IT/Digital, Professional Services, Travel, and Distribution.

You have strong leadership and communication skills, which help you to collaborate, steer and influence at high levels with internal and external business partners. More over you have:
Extensive experience in the Logistics industry in multinational companies
Global category/account management experience: proven record of managing complex and geographically spread accounts
Strong understanding of Logistics vendor and regional landscape, market trends, contracts and regulations
Strong competence in developing strategic supply base and effective business relationships models across multiple geographies
Experience in negotiating complex agreements with industry leaders and develop innovative solutions through partnership
Proficiency in English both verbally and written
