Hello! Our very successful client in the healthcare industry is in need of a sr. accountant to join their team! The ideal candidate will be well adept in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and providing detailed variance analysis.

　　Location: Lakewood Ranch, FL

　　Schedule: Remote with restriction (Must reside in Florida)

　　Description:

　　Prepares and analyzes office and regional financial statements

　　Prepares journal entries and maintains supporting records

　　Prepares account reconciliations for multiple accounts and locations for various areas including but not limited to ,Bank reconciliations, Accruals, Prepaids

　　Answers accounting and financial questions by researching US GAAP, general ledger transactions and interpreting data

　　Provides detail analysis and quantifies variances from expected results

　　Maintains supporting work papers for internal and external audits

　　Develops and implements efficient accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes through process enhancements and automation

　　Communicates with Office Managers and Regional Management on financial results and policies/procedures

　　Constructs ad-hoc reports and assist with projects as needed

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

　　3+ years of accounting experience

　　Proficiency in Excel- Intermediate to advanced (pivots, vlook, some formulas), Word, and other Microsoft Office Tools

　　Experience working with accounting software, (Great Plains is a plus)

　　Working knowledge of US GAAP and ability to research technical items

　　Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
