Whowe are looking for: We are currently looking for a Scheduler to be basedout of De Pere, WI. Reporting to Master Scheduler, this person will beresponsible for planning and scheduling work orders for Slitter, TubeMills, and Secondary value-add operations. This individual will beresponsible for creating and publishing a rolling 8-week capacityschedule on all work centers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum ofthree years related experience with increasing levels of responsibilityand a background in inventory management and scheduling. Experience inlean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus. Whatyou\'ll do: Utilize daily production reports for managing workloads andcommunicating manufacturing status. Reconciling MRS (ManufacturingResource System) and production order confirmation. Enter and maintainall data regarding inventories produced or reconciliations of rawmaterial received. Function as the backup for the Master Scheduler. Whatyou\'ll bring: Bachelor\'s Degree preferred. Experience with SIOP orS&OP. CPIM certification desired. Within 3 months, you\'ll: Completeyour Atkore immersion program. Understand how your job will help deliverAtkore\'s strategy. Within 6 months, you\'ll: Develop relationships withkey stakeholders within the plant. Gain a full understanding of yourteam and their importance to the production process. Ensure customerorders are scheduled in a manner that reduces backorders. Within 12months, you\'ll: Support the Materials Manager in weekly scheduling forslit demand. Create purchase orders for outside services, such asoutsourced slit coils. Manage special projects and continuousimprovement activities.
