　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　5+ years of industry experience in mining an/or civil engineering

　　Leadership experience managing multiple personnel

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　• Advanced knowledge of health and safety regulations

　　• Experience in conducting project cost analysis and managing budgets

　　Day in the life:

　　Your week will begin with safety, conducting safety talk sessions with the team. You will be scheduling and directing internal and external contractor work activities, conducting site inspections to ensure everything is on track. You will also be expected to attend all project related meetings. You will constantly monitor the progress, performance, and quality of ongoing work, collaborating with the operations manager on cost analysis, budgeting, and project scheduling.

　　Your focus will be on ensuring the production process aligns with the critical path to maintain inventories for sale. You will manage the usage and charges of company tools, equipment, and rental equipment. Document equipment details on the daily production report and review equipment utilization.

　　On a daily basis, you will take on a leadership role by overseeing operations, providing guidance to staff and contractors, and ensuring everyone is well-trained and performing efficiently.

　　Lavis is part of Miller’s overall aggregate group. This operation has portable crushers, screening plants, wash plant, and multiple pits. This operation it vital to the vertical integration with Lavis’ asphalt & concrete plants and supplying the local customer market.
