We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market.We are seeking a Rigger/Signalman Operator's to join our Self-Perform team for construction projects located in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. . Riggers will be responsible for the lifting and movement of heavy equipment and materials. They will inspect all applicable rigging. Plan for lifts using the weight of the load, lifting capacity of equipment, and other relative information needed to plan safely any heavy load movement. Attach load using slings, chains, cables, hooks, shackles, and other related equipment. They will be responsible for signaling to the operator during the lift with instructions. Strict adherence to safety, quality standards, good housekeeping habits, high level of critical thinking/reading comprehension, and overtime as required. More specific duties may be required depending on the scope of a project. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.Prevailing Wages $18-25ph DOE. Full benefit plan offered, vacation and sick pay. 401K/Match.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:A high school diploma or GED is the preferred minimum formal education for this position.Three or more years (or equivalent) working with an experienced crane operator in the construction industry required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.Current Crane Operation certification by a DOD recognized crane certifying agency required.Lift CertificationGround Rigging ExperienceExperience with Concrete Tilt wall erection preferred.Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) preferred.
