JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Details Job Location Ocnwc - Oconomowoc, WIPosition Type Full Time Job Shift 1st Shift Description JOB SUMMARY:Prepares and processes parts through a liquid penetrant inspectionsystem, including final evaluation, making accept/reject decisions, andcompleting documentation of results. ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES: Works from and interprets fairly complicated sketches,routings, product specifications, and quality requirements. Followsestablished procedures to verify specified dimensions of product ormaterial using a variety of standard inspection tools. Recommendsprocess improvements. Sets up and standardizes penetrant equipment.Performs system performance checks in accordance with quality workinstructions. Inspects parts in accordance with quality workinstructions. Interprets part FPI indications and makes acceptance andrejection decisions per Ace Precision specifications. Cleans parts inparts washer prior to penetrant inspection. Processes parts according towork instructions. Prepares parts for inspection according to workinstructions. Successfully completes Level 2 certification examinationsin accordance with Ace Precision\'s requirements. In coordination withthe Maintenance Department, performs preventive maintenance on penetrantequipment. Proceeds under general supervision of a Level 3 PenetrantInspector. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of and conformity with AcePrecision Quality System work instruction requirements that governPenetrant operations. Maintains or exceeds production standards throughefficient organization and planning. Follows and complies with safetypolicies and procedures. Accurately completes all requireddocumentation. Meets attendance policy requirements. Contributes to teameffort by assisting in areas as needed.
