  REGIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

  JOB SUMMARYThe Regional Sales Representative develops, increases and maintains salesfor the assigned regional area of responsibility. The Region SalesRepresentative assists the Region Sales Manager with the daily operation andprofitability of the assigned regional area of responsibility, LAMP sales,business development, product training and support and all safety programs.

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties maybe assigned.Assists in managing the profitability of the regional area ofresponsibility, including timely preparation and completion of budgets,sales forecasts and submission of financial reports required by the company.Responsible for sales efforts in assigned regional area of responsibility asrequired by maintaining relationships, client portfolios, and favorablecontacts with current and potential accounts. Also maintains contact with theclients on a regular basis through client meetings on-site and throughexternal meetings at the clients' offices for contractual negotiations andtechnical presentations.Responsible for participating in the development of technical manuals andsales literature, assists Sales personnel in technical sales presentationsor provides technical presentations directly to customers.Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfactionand sales potential.Responsible for field sales activities including ongoing professional trainingas required.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily.   EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEBA/BS degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of oil & gas industry experiencepreferred.Strong communication skills required in order to interface with various levelswithin the company and with clients.Relies on extensive industry experience and independent judgment to plan andaccomplish goals.Ability to interact effectively with clients and company personnel in order toprovide information and technical support.Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating andmaintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routinereports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups ofcustomers or employees of organization. Must have excellent communicationskil

  MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units ofmeasure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concretevariables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability tointerpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram,or schedule form.

  CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSValid driver's license and a good driving record required.
