　　About this Opportunity:

　　The Global Quality & Reliability Intern position is ideal for a person interested in developing operation systems in a worldwide manufacturing organization. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to several key enabling functions in Global Quality organization. We are looking for a team player who possesses exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), is able to learn quickly, and is self-motivated.

　　Preferred Skills:

　　Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

　　Programing skills in VBA or Python for data processing automation

　　Relational database knowledge and application (ex. MS SQL)

　　Statistical knowledge for data processing and decision making

　　Knowledge of Smartsheet and PowerBI

　　Understanding of Google Applications

　　Critical thinking on how to leverage existing resources and technology to bring value to the business

　　Strong analytical skills to present data in an innovative way to business leaders

　　Time and project management, ability to prioritize and re-assess schedules and tasks quickly and effectively

　　Activities:

　　Collect and organize product quality and reliability data from manufacturing and engineering teams, construct database.

　　Analyze data and derive conclusions via statistical analysis.

　　Create programs in VBA or Python to automate data analysis and presentation.

　　Create operation reports for Celestica's operations and engineering teams.

　　Collaborate with Global Quality operations worldwide to achieve all objectives.

　　Participate in Global Quality programs deployment and support.

　　Participate in teleconferences, meetings with global counterparts.

　　Participate in volunteering activities within Celestica volunteer programs.

　　Create and update website content and produce quality communications for the sites.

　　Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:

　　Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment

　　Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
