We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Store Developer who is searching to do what they'll love - identifying and evaluating potential Trader Joe's locations! 　　Trader Joe's is unlike any place you've ever worked. Trust us on that. The qualified person has at least 10 years of real estate industry experience and is a raving fan of the Trader Joe's concept. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. This role is based in our office in Boston, MA.

　　The Real Estate Store Developer is responsible for identifying and evaluating potential Trader Joe's locations through partnerships with brokers, company management, independent research, and physical store sites. Contribute to the real estate process from canvassing specified neighborhoods to initial site submissions to execution of Letters of Intent.

　　Principal Responsibilities:

　　Understand how Trader Joe's functions as a Neighborhood Store.

　　Gain local knowledge of neighborhoods covered and build relationships with the local real estate community.

　　Conduct exploratory research and understand demographics of potential areas.

　　Research market rents and understand market conditions.

　　Review sites identified by others (i.e. brokers) to determine viability of potential store locations.

　　Significant travel needed to evaluate properties for the possibility of a successful store location.

　　Creatively identify site-specific changes that can be made to meet the needs of a successful Trader Joe's store.

　　Work with various internal teams to complete site assessments.

　　Effectively communicate site visit evaluations and prepare site materials for preliminary review by Real Estate Team.

　　Qualifications:

　　Four year college degree preferred.

　　Ten plus years of relevant real estate industry experience.
