　　Responsibilities

　　Sourcing, negotiating and closing vendor contracts, managing capital projects and managing the budget

　　Review departmental payroll and benefits costs and monitor against budget

　　Review purchase orders, requisitions, and purchasing invoices and ensure accuracy

　　Manage inventory levels

　　Develop purchasing policies and procedures to promote efficiency in purchasing

　　Review vendor contracts to ensure long-term contractual agreements are in place

　　Negotiate lower costs with selected vendors

　　Prepare data reports to support purchasing decision

　　Some travel to other location may be required

　　Other duties as needed
