We are looking for a Production Engineer to join our Cwmfelinfach team!

　　As our Production Engineer, will be processing NPI projects through structured gated system and will engage internal and external resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, cost, and quality and in line with project requirements/objectives.

　　The successful candidate will be an experienced Production Engineer to use their previous mechanical assembly experience to support the group and introduce new developments into our production facilities.

　　Your Challenge

　　Manage the allocated production elements of the NPI through structured gated process from concept/quotation to production-handover.

　　Ensuring the introduction of high-quality products produced through innovative test solutions and continuous improvement activities.

　　Monitoring key project milestones are ensuring these are achieved.

　　Design of new product production line tooling and equipment to support manufacturing processes.

　　Ensuring compliance with all Safety, Quality and Production process standards

　　Liaising with Production, Quality and Design Engineering

　　Preparation of Control documents/work instructions and provide technical support to production departments when necessary.

　　Conduct process validation for new/existing manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements. Use of FMEA activities.

　　Lead team meetings to facilitate communication between organisations and functions as required meeting program timing objectives.

　　Support UK and overseas manufacturing sites with product introduction and continuous improvement activities

　　What You Bring

　　Full UK driving license.

　　HNC/D in engineering or equivalent

　　5 year's production engineering experience from a mechanical assembly environment

　　Trained in the use and implementation of SPC, PFMEA, DFM & Control Plans

　　3D CAD skills preferably using Solid Works

　　IT skills using Microsoft Office Suite

　　Flexibility to travel occasionally both domestically and internationally to support the needs of the business usually at predetermined dates.
