  Polymers & Fluids segment is composed of highly branded products serving diverse markets that require value-added, differentiated solutions.   Our Marketing team plays an important role in the development of our strategy and its successful execution. As a Strategic Marketing (Product) Manager for our Adhesive technologies, you will get to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, leveraging your entrepreneurial spirit, leadership and influencing capabilities, analytical thinking skills, and passion for B2B business development to create great business outcomes.   PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Develop short- and long-term strategy through deep understanding of products, applications, regulations, customers, and competitive landscape.

  Define, structure, and execute voice-of-customer initiatives to identify customer needs that result in a strong product/technology roadmap.

  Develop business case for new product opportunities; work closely with cross-functional team via the stage-gate process to successfully launch new products to deliver on innovation metrics.

  Develop value propositions and effective sales tools to communicate differentiation.

  Work within a cross-functional organization to help drive dynamic performance in all areas.

  Collaborate with Marketing Communications to develop collateral for both print and digital platforms; Participate in tradeshows to increase brand awareness and lead generation.

  Conduct portfolio optimization based on product lifecycle.

  Collaborate with cross-functional team for successful implementation of strategy to achieve financial targets.

  Promote, support, and adhere to all safety, environmental and quality-related policies, and procedures.

  Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field.

  5+ years’ experience working in B2B business.

  Specialty Chemical industry experience required. Adhesives experience preferred.

  Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, and able to make strategic and operational decisions.

  Strong organizational skills and proven capability in successfully handling multiple projects simultaneously. Attention to detail is essential.

  Ability to quickly grasp complicated situations.

  Strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills.

  Domestic travel required - typically 30%.
