Job Description
As the Product Manager for Installed Sound Loudspeakers, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our audio products. Your role involves utilizing your profound industry expertise and strategic acumen to drive the development and success of our installed sound loudspeaker offerings. From generating creative portfolio ideas to crafting detailed specifications for new products, you'll manage the entire portfolio lifecycle – from initial ideation and development, to public launch and end of life.
Strategic Visionary: Craft and define a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap that aligns with the company's overarching objectives.
Market Expertise: Conduct in-depth market analysis, leveraging a thorough understanding of customer needs through proactive voice of customer outreach.
Financial and Market Justification: Justify the financial and market relevance of new products, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and market demands.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a linchpin in supporting all cross-functional teams involved in product development, fostering seamless collaboration and synergy.
Market Introduction Maestro: Drive the strategic introduction of products into the market, orchestrating impactful launches that capture attention and market share.
Lifecycle Ownership: Take ownership of the entire product portfolio through its full lifecycle, from conception to market maturity, ensuring sustained success.
Costing and Pricing Authority: Assume responsibility for setting target product costs for development and price positioning in collaboration with regional teams, ensuring financial precision and alignment with strategic goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, and/or other related technical field or equivalent work experience.
3+ years’ experience in product management or equivalent education and experience preferred.
Must have 8+ years of technical professional audio installed sound system industry experience and knowledge.
Must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, ability to deliver reports, make public presentations.
Ability to collaborate effectively with respective leaders and the sales team.
Knowledge of commercial and professional sales channels (i.e.: distribution, reps, system integrators, consultants, etc.)
Must have good organizational skills and ability to strategically make decisions in order to drive towards business goals.
May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when setting up or tearing down booths at trade shows.
Must have legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
Up to 30% travel may be required.
