　　Role Introduction:

　　As a Principal Software Engineer, you will lead and advance designs across multiple teams, fostering communication, driving coding best practices, and architecting technical solutions. Your role will be pivotal in launching company-wide initiatives, unblocking issues, and providing expertise to enhance team efficiency.

　　Our tech stack includes AWS, GCP, Aptible, Docker, Flask, Kubernetes, Postgres, and other modern tools and frameworks. Our languages of choice are Python and Javascript. While we don't expect you to be an expert in every platform, we expect you to have a solid computer science foundation and be able to master the technologies that we use today (and will adopt tomorrow).

　　Most importantly, while you may not have a background in biology, you must be passionate about Concentric's goal of providing insights to governments to drive policy. Your efforts will be critical to protecting people around the globe from emerging biothreats.

　　ResponsibilitiesLead and advance designs across multiple teams.Foster communication between tech leads and guide other engineers.Drive coding best practices and design patterns across Concentric software teams.Research, evaluate, and incorporate new frontend technology frameworks into multiple team projects.Establish overall technical direction for the team and contribute to strategic company needs.Debug on-call frontend issues and serve as a design resource for senior engineers.Execute significant projects meeting strategic company needs independently.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's + minimum 15 years of experience OR Masters + minimum 10 years of experienceProven experience as a senior or principal software engineer.Deep technical knowledge in multiple areas, including software technologies, frameworks, and cloud technologies.Strong systemic understanding of Ginkgo software components and their interactions.Ability to lead and coordinate activities between multiple teams.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred Capabilities and ExperienceStrong attention to detail, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent responsibilitiesFlexibility to work in a fast-paced environmentEagerness to support Concentric's goals, with a strong drive to help our initiative succeedTotal compensation for this role is market driven, with a starting salary of $190k+, as well as company stock awards. Base pay is ultimately determined based on a candidate's skills, expertise, and experience.
