Dignity Health Medical Group - Ventura County is seeking a Primary Care Provider dedicated to delivering high quality, compassionate care to our community. Our group has opportunities available in Oxnard, Santa Paula, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks and Ventura.

Compensation Range: $315,000 - $330,000 / Year

Dignity Health Medical Group – Ventura County , a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is a multi-specialty clinic with seven locations in Ventura County, including Camarillo, Oxnard, and Thousand Oaks. Along with our local affiliated hospitals at St. John's Regional Medical Center and St. John’s Hospital Camarillo, we are committed to providing high quality, compassionate care throughout Ventura County.

Home to approximately 850,000 people, Ventura County is located halfway between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. The county includes 42 miles of gorgeous coastline, as well as the Los Padres National Forest. The unincorporated cities within the county include Camarillo; Fillmore; Moorpark; Ojai; Oxnard; Port Hueneme; Santa Paula; Simi Valley; Thousand Oaks; and San Buenaventura.

Responsibilities

Patient Care:

Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Provide clear and concise medical information.

Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.

Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

Diagnostic Procedures:

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.

Perform procedures as needed

Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.

Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement:

Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.

Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

Compliance:

Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.

Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

Continuous Learning:

Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.

Participate in ongoing medical education and training.

Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

A valid and unrestricted California medical license

Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)

Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

Pay Range

$151.44 - $158.65 /hour
