You will protect assets of the company through credit extension and collection for franchise distributor accounts receivable. While attaining planned sales targets, you will ensure financial risk is kept to a minimum, adequate turnover of receivables is attained, and bad debt losses are minimized. You will develop excellent rapport with distributors concerning financial matters coupled with involvement with District Managers in business decisions that affect distributors.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Make proper credit decisions, assigning credit limits and releasing orders to franchisees based on their credit payment performance, distributor health scores, and FICO scores.
Monitor financial risk exposure for Trade AR and Notes Receivable by reviewing franchisees' business performance and trends.
Monitor franchisees' business assets.
Communicate with District Managers to review distributor performance and provide work-out solutions.
Collection of franchise accounts receivable and promissory notes.
Provide financial information and problem solve while adhering to established policies and procedures.
Provide excellent customer phone service.
Notify and make recommendations to the manager for issues that arise.
High school graduate; completion of applicable college courses preferred. College degree a plus.
Required commercial credit and collections experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center environment.
Knowledge of credit and collection laws.
Ability to utilize credit reports, Dun and Bradstreet reports (D&B), financial statements, and financial data.
Strong keyboarding/typing skills.
Strong MS Office Excel skills.
Ability to multi-task with several credit screens/sessions open while working toward meeting strict deadlines.
Strong communication/interpersonal skills
