Daily responsibilities for this position may include interviewing incoming patients prior to admission to gather demographic, insurance and emergency information and ensuring completion of paperwork, sign-in, and security procedures. These positions serve a diverse clientele and may involve explaining facility policies, preparing and distributing patient identification bands, and arranging for transportation to assigned rooms. Additional duties may include collecting copayments, answering phones, assisting family members, and conducting research for prior medical records and account folders. 　　Insurance Verification: Verify insurance coverage and eligibility, communicating any potential issues or discrepancies to relevant parties.

　　Financial Counseling: Provide information about estimated costs, payment options, and financial assistance programs to patients.

　　Medical Records: Ensure accurate maintenance of patient records, including medical history, consent forms, and other relevant documentation.

　　Admission and Discharge: Facilitate the admission and discharge process, guiding patients through necessary paperwork and procedures.

　　Billing Inquiries: Address patient inquiries regarding billing, explaining charges and assisting with billing-related concerns.

　　Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns, providing information, and maintaining a positive patient experience.

　　Compliance: Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and privacy standards (HIPAA), maintaining confidentiality of patient information.

　　Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare staff, physicians, and administrative personnel to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate information exchange.
