Description Robert Half is looking for a Payroll Clerk to support the Payroll department at a growing company in a variety of duties. The opportunity is located in the Seattle, Washington area. This is a challenging position with an industry leader, where a self-starter can find strong career growth opportunity. The company is seeking a dynamic candidate to enhance the team's efficiency by being able to communicate effectively with both the internal team and outside customers. The Payroll Clerk position requires the candidate to perform data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and provide statements to various departments. This Payroll Clerk opportunity is a long-term contract / temporary to hire employment role.

　　Devise a system of administering and distributing reports

　　Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system

　　Run and build custom reports

　　Communicate with organization employees via a variety of channels to obtain approvals of timesheets

　　Comprise data into spreadsheets and the payroll system

　　Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc

　　Administer instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc. Requirements - Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

　　Withholdings experience preferred

　　Garnishments experience

　　Adeptness in Multi-state Payroll

　　Solid understanding of Employee Timesheets

　　Proficiency in benefits payroll

　　Foundational knowledge in Verify Benefits

　　Eagerness to master new systems

　　Excellent attention to detail

　　Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

　　Payroll software experience is a plus

　　Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

　　Previous payroll experience
