　　Entry Level Manufacturing- 12hr Nights

　　Position Overview

　　Shaw Industries is looking to hire and train Twister/Superba Operators who will play an important role in the manufacture and distribution of a variety of flooring solutions for our residential and commercial customers. We are looking for individuals who are motivated, interested in learning various skills, and who enjoy problem solving.

　　We are currently looking to fill 12hr shift openings. No prior manufacturing experience is necessary. Training is provided for all entry-level roles.

　　Twisting

　　The ideal candidate will be focused, detail-oriented, and thrive while working independently.

　　Candidates will have the opportunity to work on multi-station production equipment and will complete personal, daily production assignments while achieving goals.

　　This active and engaging position will challenge you to develop your time management skills and sharpen your attention to detail.

　　What you’ll be doing:

　　The primary responsibilities of this role include:

　　Place set up yarn on the twister and monitor/operate twisting process to ensure quality and safety.

　　Continually supply replacement yarn to the multi-position twister as needed.

　　Remove (doff) the newly twisted yarn off the twister and onto a buggy.

　　Create a doff ticket that identifies the yarn on the buggy.

　　Superba

　　Candidate will possess excellent focus and a strong attention to detail. In addition, good communication skills and the ability to work well with others are important to this position. Candidates will oversee the multiple functions of our yarn finishing systems to complete daily production assignments. He/she will work with a team to ensure the finishing processes continue uninterrupted. This position offers hands-on work experience ideal for candidates who prefer to be active and engaged in the workplace.

　　The primary responsibilities of this role include:

　　Perform a daily assignment to heat set twisted yarn, ensuring the order is processed accurately.

　　Communicate with team and Maintenance regarding orders, yarn needs and any mechanical issues.

　　Inspect, label and box completed orders.
