The Role
14 Day Mani, a successful start-up within the gel-nail space, is looking for a Buying and Merchandising Manager to oversee all aspects of buying and merchandising for the business.
We are looking for someone from the nail industry to join us and help spearhead our next phase of growth. You will come armed with a black book of suppliers, to help identify new relationships for our business as well as managing existing ones. This role is highly varied with exposure to various facets of the buying and merchandising process including NPD, stock management and looking into packaging.

Responsibilities
Maintaining relationships with our current suppliers as well as identifying new supplier relationships
Overseeing and managing all areas of the buying and merchandising process, including new product development, forecasting, managing stock levels and ordering based on lead times.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and cosmetic standard and law.
Look to drive reductions in cost and improve process efficiencies to ensure all data is aligned.
This is a remote-working role, but able to visit the Head Office once or twice per month.
Skills
Previous experience of buying and merchandising from the Nail industry
Strong commercial awareness and can interpret data
Strong communication skills and able to make and maintain relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
An organised, positive and proactive approach
The ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, start-up business.
