Job Description:
Employee should be able to Conduct routine Maintenance on Heavy and Medium Duty Trucks.Including but not limited to:- Fluid Changes- Filter Changes- Greasings- Inspections, such as, DOT, Brake (Etc.)- Maintenance of Service Records and Truck Information Forms.
Employee should be able to Conduct routine repairs of Heavy and Medium Duty Trucks.Including but not limited to:- Diagnose mechanical and Electrical Issues- Diagnose Engine Controls and SensorsRepairs to:- Brakes- Hoses- Accessories- Engine components- Other Mechanical Components.Perform Minor Fabrications, including but not limited to:-Drilling-Welding-Assembly Fabrication
Technician should expect to work with and be trained on: Fire Truck Components and Accessories
Technician will be expected to work with other Technicians on large jobs and be able to Consult OEM Manuals for Proper diagnosis and Repair instructions.
Technician will be expected to work with others in a professional manner and may have occasional interactions with Customers. They will be expected to maintain a positive attitude and be willing to take direction. Technician should expect to receive occasional training which may require travel.
Employee should be able to provide current driver license and conduct test drives of Customer Vehicles. Technician should expect to occasionally perform duties while on the road, Via an equipped service vehicle.
