　　Certification or associate degree in paralegal studies, business administration or equivalent (bachelor's degree is preferred).

　　A minimum experience of two years in a paralegal or business administration role.Investigative mind and strong research skills.Working knowledge legal database software.Experience in preparing legal reports.

　　JOB SUMMARY: The Paralegal will support the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) by providing clerical and research support services including document preparation and review; research, investigations, and fact checking; and other preparation as needed. Provide support as needed in areas of compliance with the CCO and may be part of company policy development to make sure they are lawful and without any significant issues.

　　Essential Job Duties: Summarize and prepare documentation and reports for Chief Compliance OfficerConducting research, investigating facts, and preparing legal drafts for CCO reviewDrafting legal documents such as contracts, policies for CCO reviewPreparing and filing documents with outside entities as needed under supervisor directionOrganizing and archiving documents related to completed and ongoing situationsWrite and summarize reports, and draft correspondence and legal documents including contracts

　　COMPLIANCE SUPPORT:Consult with the Chief Compliance Officer on compliance matters.Support in the development and information for employee training on compliance policies, practices, and reporting systems in collaboration with Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Talent Development.

　　PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Exert up to 50lbs. pushing, pulling, or lifting. Walking and climbing stairs required. Able to talk/hear and communicate with others with or without reasonable accommodation.

　　TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to travel to and between sites while maintaining standards of safety and compliance with motor vehicle traffic laws. This position may require travel for necessary training and conferences.
