Description

　　Robert Half Legal seeks a passionate Paralegal for a permanent placement career opportunity. This role will work alongside attorneys and other legal staff in litigation proceedings. Ideal candidates will be familiar with medical-related litigation, are resourceful, can effectively operate within a team, and are strong communicators. Candidates interested in this position should have experience handling litigation files from opening through settlement or trial/arbitration and appeal. Candidates should also have an understanding and working familiarity with Minnesota District Courts. This position is in office, in the Downtown Minneapolis office. This full time position is eligible for benefits including medical, dental, 401(k), and Paid Time Off.

　　What you get to do every day:

　　Preparing and organizing a range of legal documents

　　Obtaining and summarizing medical records and medical bills

　　Corresponding with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, and other outside parties

　　Preparing trial and arbitration binders and managing exhibits

　　Answering discovery

　　Conducting legal research and research different jurisdictional procedures

　　Additional project management responsibilities as assigned

　　Requirements

　　2+ years of relevant experience

　　Capable of taking ownership of projects, writing, planning and organizing

　　Solid understanding of No Fault Personal Injury Law in Minnesota

　　Experience summarizing medical records highly desired
