Description
Technology consulting company has an immediate opening for proactive Administrative Assistant to join the team in Sunnyvale, California. As an Administrative Assistant with this organization, you'll join the legal team and support immigration matters for employees. This Administrative Assistant will be primarily responsible for gathering and managing documents related to various visa applications and maintaining efficient communication with employees. If you're looking to enter the immigration law field and grow your career with a growing company, this is the position for you! This Administrative Assistant must be able to work on-site full-time. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of administrative experience; prior legal or immigration experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
• Working closely with employees to gather necessary documents for visa applications including H1b, L1, TN E3 Visas.
• Serving as a liaison for document collection and report tracking.
• Monitoring visa expiry dates and maintaining up-to-date records.
• Scanning and filing notices and INS documents as necessary.
• Handling email correspondence and answering inbound calls related to immigration issues.
• Performing data entry tasks to maintain accurate records.
• Drafting documents related to immigration law.
• Assisting with non-immigrant visas and employment-based immigration matters.
• Ensuring all administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Possess at least one year of experience in an administrative role.
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Demonstrable skill in data entry with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven ability to manage email correspondence, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
• Knowledge of immigration law is preferred but not requires.
• Familiarity with Employment-Based Immigration processes and procedures is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in using office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools.
