BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring experienced Veterinary Technicians to work overnight in our Emergency/Urgent Care department.

*For a limited time, we are offering a SIGN ON BONUS of up to $2500 for qualified LVT candidates!*

Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 10p - 8a. NO WEEKENDS!

Pay: $21.00 - $33.00 / hour + a $3 shift differential per hour of your entire shift!

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through CareerTrax leveling system .

At BluePearl Pet Hospital, the role of Veterinary Technician is an exciting, fast-paced opportunity that will allow you to utilize the skills that you have worked so hard to gain. As an Urgent Care Veterinary Technician, you will:

Provide high quality patient care.

Monitor, manage and implement treatment plans as ordered by clinicians to insure prompt delivery of high-quality care to inpatient cases.

Identify and communicate changes in patient condition to members of the patient care team.

Collaborate with clinicians throughout the hospital to coordinate and prioritize patient care.

Clean and maintain clinical areas including treatment and patient housing areas

Facilitate the maintenance of clinical equipment by identifying malfunctioning equipment and scheduling service.

Assist clinicians with procedures.

Complete diagnostic testing as ordered by clinicians.

Coach and mentor junior staff members as directed by supervisory staff.
