The Business Development Associate can be based our of our Philadelphia, PA or Princeton, NJ office location. This person will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities in coordination with the Firm's Partners, facilitate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions. The Business Development Associate will work with the Partner group, marketing and other key staff to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the Firm. They will also help manage existing clients to ensure they stay satisfied and positive.Duties include but are not limited to:Primary role of the Business Development Associates is to prospect for new clients by cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clientsMust plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with our FirmMust develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationshipResponsible for developing a pipeline of new business coming into the FirmWork with Partners, the Business Development team and marketing in contacting prospects from designated campaigns while logging contacts made and development of the campaignUse knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the Firm’s unique selling propositions and differentiatorsEducational and Experience Requirements:Minimum of 1-2 years of business development experienceThorough knowledge of the related market and competitors, and the solutions/services of the accounting industryBachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or other related field.
