Robert Half is hiring candidates for an exciting entry-level Accountant opportunity, with a highly successful organization. To succeed in this position, you should be able to review financial statements with a heavy data entry component. Are you interested in spreadsheet creation and manipulation? 　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Log data

　　Facilitating full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

　　Carrying out alternate duties and taking part in special projects as assigned

　　Making sure that accounts contained in the general ledger are correct

　　Helping with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits

　　Investigating and fixing account discrepancies

　　Put together monthly journal entries Requirements - Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company

　　Suggested education is an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

　　Excellent attention to detail

　　Excellent data entry skills

　　Desire to thrive in scenarios of team-based work or independent tasks, always looking to learn more and take initiative on a number of different projects and tasks

　　Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred

　　Proven knowledge of accruals

　　Experience with debits

　　Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings

　　Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel

　　Well-founded grasp of Balance Sheet Account

　　US GAAP experience

　　Journal entries experience

　　At minimum, 1 year of relevant accounting experience
