Job Overview
The Ophthalmic Tech - Certified will be responsible for conducting technicaland administrative patient support activities that assist the professionalstaff (Ophthalmologist, Orthoptist, Residents, etc.) inadministering the healthcare and support needed for patients and families inthe outpatient ophthalmic clinic. The Ophthalmic Tech will work under theChildren's Hospital Colorado professional and behavior standards.

Qualifications
EDUCATION - High School DiplomaEXPERIENCE - 1 year of work experience as an Ophthalmic Tech. Pediatricsetting preferred.CERTIFICATION(S) - BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with atleast 6 months left before expiration is required upon hire. CertifiedOphthalmic Medical Tech (COMT) or Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA)or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT)This position may require a BLS certification from the American HeartAssociation.
