Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking applications for a psychologist to provide consultative, psychotherapeutic and behavioral health services to adults requiring inpatient and/or outpatient rehabilitation.  All services are offered in the context of a transdisciplinary team.  Most common conditions to be served include traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and stroke. The successful candidate will be engaged in direct service delivery as well as supervision of mid-level (Master's prepared) providers.  The position will be available as of January 2023 but starting time is flexible.  Requirements include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and clinical training / experience in a health care setting.  Prior involvement with a team approach in a rehabilitation context is desirable.  The position requires a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program with subsequent formal postdoctoral training.  Preference will be given to candidate who either possess or are immediately eligible for (at a minimum) a Limited License to practice psychology in the state of Michigan.  Persons who can bring increased diversity to the department (e.g., bilingual or experience with underserved populations) are especially encouraged to apply.  The candidate will be able to join a vibrant and expanding service with excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.  Send curriculum vitae, letter of interest, official graduate transcript, and contact information for at least two professional references to: Julia Craner, Psychology Director, Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital, 235 Wealthy S.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49503 (e-mail: [email protected]).
