Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking applications for a psychologist to provide consultative, psychotherapeutic and behavioral health services to adults requiring inpatient and/or outpatient rehabilitation. All services are offered in the context of a transdisciplinary team. Most common conditions to be served include traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and stroke. The successful candidate will be engaged in direct service delivery as well as supervision of mid-level (Master's prepared) providers. The position will be available as of January 2023 but starting time is flexible. Requirements include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and clinical training / experience in a health care setting. Prior involvement with a team approach in a rehabilitation context is desirable. The position requires a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program with subsequent formal postdoctoral training. Preference will be given to candidate who either possess or are immediately eligible for (at a minimum) a Limited License to practice psychology in the state of Michigan.
